1. Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, β-hemolytic streptococcus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Candida, etc.
2. Gram-negative bacteria: Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus, Moraxella catarrhalis, B. pertussis, Enterobacter aeruginosa, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Alcaligenes. for pulmonary tuberculosis.
3. Corresponding bacteria can be isolated from the pharynx of patients with pertussis and diphtheria
4. Acute pharyngitis and nasal abscess are mostly caused by Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
5. Many throat infections are caused by anaerobic bacteria
