Product shape
According to the number of wells, the more common ones can be divided into 96-well plates and 384-well plates;
According to the hole type, the 96-well plate can be mainly divided into round hole type and square hole type. All 384-well plates are of square hole type;
According to the shape of the bottom of the hole, there are two common types: U-shaped and V-shaped.
Deep well plate application
Store samples
It can replace the conventional 1.5mL centrifuge tube to store samples, and the storage is neat, space-saving, large storage capacity, and can withstand -80 ℃ refrigerator. Therefore, it is also called a storage board.
Process samples
It can be combined with a discharge gun, high-throughput automatic liquid manipulation instruments and software to achieve high-throughput operations on biological samples, such as protein precipitation, liquid extraction, accounting extraction, etc. Greatly improve the efficiency of sample processing. It can withstand high temperature and high pressure sterilization at 121°C.
Sample Injection
The deep-well plate can be commonly used in automated equipment and can be directly placed in the sample compartment of the automated device for injection. Compared with traditional injection, it can not only double the number of samples placed in the sample compartment, but also realize the realization of samples in 96 wells. After the plate is processed, the sample is directly injected, which saves the tedious work of drawing samples back and forth and placing samples.
