What is a 96-well plate?
Aug 30, 2022
A 96-well plate is a type of ELISA plate that plays a key role in the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ELISA is based on specific antigen-antibody reactions and usually involves the immobilization of antibodies or antigens into 96-well or 384-well plates. 96-well plates generally include 96-well deep-well plates, 96-well enzyme labeled plates and 96-well PCR plates.
96-well deep-well plates
Deep-well plates are made of medical-grade polypropylene, conforming to SBS international specifications, highly chemically stable, autoclavable, and suitable for multichannel pipettes as well as automated devices. Suitable for biological fields, such as PCR, RIA, EIA and cell culture, and DNA detection; suitable for nucleic acid extraction experiments, etc.; suitable for storage of most polar organic solutions, acidic and alkaline solutions and other laboratory solutions.
96-well enzyme labeling plate
96-well enzyme labeling plate made of medical-grade polypropylene, high safety, divided into two kinds of removable enzyme labeling plate and non-removable enzyme labeling plate, can be widely applied to ELISA experiments in a safe, reliable and effective carrier, can be used for enzyme-linked immunosorbent experiments: such as immunization, identification of genetically modified products, food safety identification medical clinical diagnosis.
96-well PCR plates
PCR plates are made of medical-grade polypropylene, conforming to SBS international specifications, with high chemical stability and high-temperature resistance. Widely used in gene isolation, cloning, nucleic acid sequence analysis, genetic, biochemical, immunological, pharmaceutical and other basic research; used for diagnosis of diseases or any place where DNA and RNA are available, belonging to the laboratory disposable consumables.
