In the process of adjusting the pipette, the knob should not be turned too fast, nor should it exceed its maximum or minimum range, otherwise the volume will be inaccurate and the internal mechanism will be easily jammed and the pipette will be damaged.
In the process of assembling the pipette, repeatedly hitting the pipette strongly with the pipette will not tighten the pipette. This operation for a long time will cause the parts in the pipette to loosen, and in severe cases, the knob for adjusting the scale will be stuck.
When there is liquid in the pipette tip, do not place the pipette horizontally or upside down, so as to prevent the liquid from flowing back and corroding the piston spring.
When autoclaving a pipette, you should first check whether the pipette used is suitable for autoclaving before handling.
