Viral throat flocked swab is designed for Oropharyngeal clinical diagnostics, it utilizes state of the art “spray on technology” whereby the flocking process, by means of electro-static charge, perpendicularly attaches millions of nylon microfibers on the medical grade flock tip. Ideal for collecting large amounts of cells and instant and thorough elution into the transport medium. A specially designed plastic shaft supports the flocked tip, ensuring the highest strength and flexibility. The shaft can also be provided with a breaking point for a smooth release of the tip inside the tube after specimen collection.

Suntrine viral throat swab securely holds a swab in a standing microcentrifuge tube, creating a sterile and safe environment to accommodate different arrays of collection devices. Our injection molded cap ensures a precision fit and eliminates adhesives that might interfere with the sample. When finished, simply insert the swab back to the tube and cap tightly for delivery to the lab. Ideal for microbiological examination for pharmaceutical, medical, and food and beverage industries.
