Virus Sampling Method
Feb 12, 2022
The conventional virus sampling method is to use a sampling swab to sample the virus, then put it in Hanks solution or other buffers for subsequent experiments. This method requires cryopreservation to avoid the growth of miscellaneous bacteria, and the transportation cost of cryopreservation is high, and this method does not solve the problem that the virus activity is easily decreased and the viral nucleic acid, antigen, etc. are degraded during the sampling and transportation time interval.
